Back from London

Back from London!

Hello lovelies!

As you might have guessed by the title and from earlier posts, I've been to London and now i'm back home. I went for make-up shortcourse and it was so GOOD!
I will admit that I had my doubts before leaving, because I was going alone and I didn't even know if the course would be any good.
It turned out that the course was really good. I learned lots of techniques, different looks and about different colours etc. The course took place on London University Of The Arts situated in an area called Lime Grove. It was a 10 minute trainride from oxford street and in general central London.

If you are interested in taking a course, I would definitely recommend this course. (It's mostly for people who want to learn to put make-up on others, but there are other courses if you just want to learn how to do your own make-up) It is quite expensive but its really worth it!

I met some lovely people and my teacher, Sam Walker is an amazing teacher and make-up artist. (Check out her website HERE )

My mom and dad decided to take a weekend trip to London whilst I was there, so they arrived Thursday and we had an AMAZING weekend with shopping, good food and sightseeing.

London is my favorite city to visit and if my boyfriend was on board I would move there for sure!

Hope you enjoyed to see some of the pictures from my trip and i'll "see" you soon!
(I took some pictures of the make-up looks I did too, but I haven't asked the persons permission to post them online)

Weekend Want List

Weekend Want List

Hello lovelies!

After a lovely and relaxed weekend, I thought I would share with you some of the things Im craving at the moment. I decided to not keep it all beauty because I thought it would be fun to share some other random things too!

Nr.1
And yet, the number one thing is make-up and beauty related...
I have been following Tanya Burr (the british youtuber) for quite some time now, and I was SO excited when I heard that she was launching her own products. She's released 10 nail polishes and 12 lip glosses and I can't wait to get my hands on some of them. Unfortunatly I've had to wait to buy anything because I'm going to London in 2 weeks, and I've had to save my money.

All the products look amazing, but I have a few favorites that I just need to own!

Lipglosses: Afternoon tea, Picnic in the park and Aurora
Nailpolishes:
Mini marshmallows, New York night, bright and early, peaches and crème, Penguin chick and Little duck.

Nr. 2

Another makeup item I really look forward to getting, is the Soap&glory Kick ass concealer. As for what i've heard, is shoud have a really good coverage and the packaging looks too cute!

Nr. 3

Read new books!

I really hope to get some reading done on the plane and in London, and i'm planning on bringing these two.

Nr. 4

Watch movies!

I haven't seen any of these two yet, but I really want to, because i've heard wonderful things about them both.
A film that I just need to own is About time..
I saw it with my boyfriend and whilst I was sobbing at the end, he was trying hard to hold back a few tears.

The plot might seem cheesy, but it is the cutest, touching and life-affirming movie i've seen in a long time. I'm such a sucker for romantic movies and this is no exception!
Its not only a GREAT love story, but the movie has so many other aspects..... I can only recommend you see it - both boys and girls!

Nr. 5

London!

As I mentioned before, Im going to London in 2 weeks and I can't wait! Im going on a Make-up course and eventhough im affraid that I will be incredibly alone, i'm really looking forward to it!
I don't know if this can be classified as a "Want" but I do want the time to go really fast!

Lots of love - Caroline

Liebster Award

Liebster Award

A while ago I was nominated for a Liebster Award by the fabulous Sophie from NOT CENTRAL FASHION (Check out her blog here ) I've done one of these in the past, but I thought it might be fun to do another one!

For those new to blogging, or new to the Liebster Award, here are a few pieces of information that you need to know!
1. The Liebster Award has German origins, with the word meaning “dearest” or “most favourite”.

2. The award is aimed at new up-and-coming bloggers. (It was originally for bloggers with less than 3000 followers, but recently, it’s been as a low as 200 – you decide!)
3. You must answer the questions set by the blogger who nominated you, as well as link to their blog in your post.
4. You should then nominate as many bloggers as you want for the award (probably up to 11) and let them know you’ve picked them.
5. Finally, you need to ask a set of new questions for the bloggers you nominate.

If you want, you can also include a set of random facts about yourself that you want your readers to know!

Here are the questions Sophie asked:

1. Who, what or where, do you get your style inspiration from?
- That's a really difficult question to answer but I really love Jessica Alba, Eleanor Calder and Lilly Collins.

2. What do you currently have on repeat on your iPod?
- I have Tom Odell with Another Love!

3. What, or who, inspired you to start your blog?
- My best friend Katarina from http://www.kautekouture.com/

4. What make-up item can you not live without, and why?
The bourjois Volumnizer Mascara
5. Describe your style using 2-3 images.

6. Do you have a fashion motto, and if so, what is it?

7. Which one other blogger inspires you daily, and why?
- Tanya Burr inspires me alot. She doesn't blog so much anymore but her Youtube videos is amazing. She just launched her Lipgloss and nailpolish collection, and that is such an INSPIRATION!

8. What one thing do most people not know about you?
- I cant really think of anything..
9. What is your dream career?
To work on a magazine, or become really succecful via my blog.
10. What is your favourite season for fashion/make-up, and why?
- I'm an all time summer lover! Make-up, clothes and food it doesn't matter! All things summer are best!

11. What, besides blogging, do you like to do in your spare time?
- Hanging out with my boyfriend and my friends, and quality time with my mom!
My love

Now, I nominate a few of my favourite bloggers:

Kristen Smith from StyleTrials
Connie from Connielovesbeauty
Yige from Yet Another Makeup blog'
and then I want to nominate all others who thinks it would be fun to do this post!

And last but not least my questions for you! (A mixture of questions I find interesting)

1. What inspirational quote best sums up you?
2. What actress would play you in the movie of your life?
3.
What trend would you like to see come back into fashion?
4.
What do you currently have on repeat on your iPod?5. Name your 3 favorite beauty products?
6.
What is your favourite season for fashion/make-up, and why?7. How would you like your blog to develop in 2014?8. Describe yourself in 3 words.
9.
What is your dream career?
10.  Favorite Tv-shows?

I hope you enjoyed answering these questions! And dont forget to include pictures, to make it more interesting!

Thanks to Sophie, for nominating me!

Lots of love - Caroline
